Submit your blog to the top blog directories for free

A new web service name Blog Buzzer has been launched that allows authors of blogs to manually and automatically submit their blogs to the top blog directories and search engines.

Blog Buzzer allows users to submit their blogs for free and also has the ability for users in different countires to submit their blogs to their native country.

We have started using Blog Buzzer's "Auto Buzzer" which allows this blog to be automatically sent to the directories that we have chosen.

Dida Dot Returns

Sorry, it took awhile but Dida Dot is back up and running. We had been working on some other websites, and had stopped writing for Dida Dot., but we forgot how much fun we have doing it! We're going to try to update this blog on a daily basis. Check back for updates.

Open Source Academic Research

The US Academy of Public Research is a new community that allows everyone to both share and gain knowledge from research papers on all subject all over the world. There is currently a call for papers and they are encouraging anyone to submit, thesis', essays or other research material.

Google Launches Lively

Google, last week launched Lively, the rival to Second Life. Google Lively allows users to setup their own avatar, and explore or create their own virtual world. Currently the Avatar selection is limited, in that the user can only choose from a few pre-configured avatar models. Lively does allow users to integrate their virtual worlds into popular social sites such as Myspace.

Another web 2.0 site that caught my eye is Booktagger.
Booktagger which is currently in beta allows users to post the books that they own and create their own virtual book collection. Including details on the books as well and cover art. you may proudly display your own book collection. Users are also allowed to view others bookshelves and read about other books, as well as search by and tag books based on keywords.

Microsoft has aquired yet another multimedia sharing site. Webfives is a sleek looking site that is a mixup of videos, photos, music, blogs, and more. Including free profile pages for users, that show all videos and view counts, Webfives allows users to easily find what they are looking for without having to sift through countless videos and unrelated pages.

Keeping in our theme of sites that can be used for holiday shopping. Jellyfish is a site where users can search for not just information, but rather actual products.
With an familiar and easy to use interface Jellyfish allows shoppers to see price ranges at multiple stores on the product that they are searching for. With cash back on many purchases Jellyfish is one more tool to help shoppers this season.
